Our experience at Softfoot Farm has been nothing short of amazing! We stayed at their retreat for one night and felt completely immersed in nature, it was a refreshing getaway from city life while still having a very modern and minimalist feel to the place.

The next day, we had the Alpaca and Wildlife tour and had a wonderful time seeing all the different animals throughout their conservation park, feeding them and playing with them when able to.

Our tour guide Em was brilliant and very accommodating, it was obvious that she really loves her job and knows her stuff. Highly recommend having her as your tour guide!

We then finished the day off by having a dessert and coffee at their beautiful, scenic restaurant. This holiday was definitely a trip to remember! Will be back soon hopefully!

The. Best. Experience. I came with my boyfriend as a birthday present for him, to enjoy an alpaca tour. Little did I know it would be that wonderful. Allen was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic. He shared with us the mission to help and save the animals we got to see and has a lot of knowledge to share with us about the animals they take care of.
The tour starts with some reptiles, then we saw curious emus, hungry birds and a sleepy koala, we got to feed some kangaroos - some are surprisingly very calm around humans. The tour kept going as we saw a few others creatures, and then we joined the alpacas. These animals are so funny. As soon as we entered their land, they all ran towards us because they knew they were going to have FOOD! Seeing the alpacas at the end of the tour was THE cherry on top. We got to spend more time with the alpacas and this was a magical moment. Allen gave us everything he could to make the tour even more enjoyable for us. He took pictures of us - and they turn out great! ; he made the tour last longer and he was happy about it. He has a peaceful and kind energy and it's just nice to be around him.
The buggy was so, SO cool!! If you ever got worried about the flood, don't. Drive 4wd on this small buggy on water is so much fun!!!
Allen & team, you are doing such a wonderful job in this paradise for the animals you take care of. I can't thank you enough for creating such a memorable and sensational experience on this special occasion. And finally, a million times thank you to the lady who also made it possible while it was fully booked. I will never forget what you've done for us and I will forever be grateful for your kindness and for trying. All of this was possible.. because of you

My favourite place for dining in South Australia.
We visited here in early July. Upon arrival , staff Pui Pui was very friendly and cheerful, she gave us an introduction about the restaurant and nearby environment.
The dining environment was comfortable and clean, food was scrumptious and fresh with reasonable portion.
After dining, we could visit the wildlife park free. We could see many Emu, kangaroo, Koala ....
Before we left, we had some chocolate milk and dessert, all were delicious.
I highly recommend you to visit if you travel to Victor Harbor South Australia.

We were given a voucher and finally booked for lunch. Great Australian infused menu. Staff were friendly and looked after us exceptionally well. Food and views were outstanding. Kids menu available and visit to see native animals afterwards a must.

Softfoot Farm and Wildlife Park provided an exceptional experience, thanks largely to our guides, Allen and Zane. Their attentive care and consideration for our entire group, including senior family members with language barriers, ensured everyone felt included and engaged throughout the tour. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, making it a memorable outing for my mum, who was particularly delighted.

Allen and Zane’s expertise was evident as they skillfully managed our tour, allocating ample time to explore each section thoroughly. Their knowledge about the park and its inhabitants, including the adorable alpacas, enriched our visit. They shared fascinating insights and facts, enhancing our appreciation for the wildlife and farm life showcased.

Booking two buggies for our group was a wise choice, allowing us to navigate the park comfortably. The guides’ organizational skills ensured a seamless experience, balancing informative sessions with opportunities for interaction and relaxation. Their professionalism and warmth created a welcoming atmosphere that made the visit both educational and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Overall, Softfoot Farm and Wildlife Park exceeded expectations, largely due to Allen and Zane’s exceptional guidance and dedication. Their passion for their work and commitment to customer satisfaction shone through, leaving us with cherished memories of a delightful day spent among nature and animals.

Lovely staff ❤️ We stayed in one of their accommodations and it was amazing and very relaxing!!! Have also done the Alpaca tours - saw kangaroos, koala, emu,very loud Fred the cockatoo, very chatty Chappy the corella, frogmouth owl and bettong. Allan our tour guide is very good! We haven’t tried the restaurant as they only do dinner Friday to Sunday but we bought their dinner basket which we cook the meat ourselves and it was frickin delicious

One of the best get away places in rural SA packed with food and fun activities. Children loved it!

The staff are so friendly and organised. All 3 cabin are very clean, exceeded our expectations.

A big thanks to Sandy and Alex to organise everything, and our buggy drivers Zen and Allan to bring so much fun.

Very friendly service, with fine dining experience or even just a coffee and scone made with love. The views are beautiful, the animals have character and there is even accommodation available. A place most definitely worth visiting even with the kids!
