Came here to buy snorkelling gear, the lady who served us was super friendly and knowledgeable. We felt like VIPs how she treated us, listening to what we were looking for, finding us the perfect items, taking time for us to try them on and explaining the differences and how to use them. Thank you ? absolutely recommend coming here for snorkelling and scuba diving gear. They have top quality products and know everything about snorkelling and scuba ?

My wife and I had a trip planned aboard the M/V Rodney Fox out of Port Lincoln. We were staying in Adelaide for a week first and hoped to make a shore dive at the Rapid Bay Jetty to photograph Leafy Sea Dragons. After watching videos of dives there, my wife wanted to dive from a boat instead. I found Underwater Sports Diving Centre and contacted Jolie. She was extremely helpful with arrangements for tanks and weights as well as directions.

We boarded the boat and set up without a rush as if we were diving at home on our own boat. Dave made sure everyone had plenty of room for the short ride to Rapid Bay.

Our guide, Wayne found three Leafies within the first five minutes. For our next dive, Wayne took us to the giant cuttlefish and the other resident critters at the Aquarium. We were able to photograph everything we hoped for on this trip in just two dives!

We had an amazing day with wonderful people. It was fun, relaxing, and likely the highlight of our trip. We plan to contact Jolie and Dave the next time we are in South Australia.

I recently went on my first dive trip with the Underwater Sports Diving Centre and - despite the weather conditions not being ideal - it was definitely an experience I would like to repeat. In fact, the way the dive team dealt with the less-than-ideal conditions was one of the things that impressed me the most. Their good humour and pragmatism in the face of a situation that could have turned the weekend into a flop meant the whole group had a great trip, even when we weren’t actually diving. On the technical side, when we did eventually get to dive, the team was professional, safety conscious and helpful.
Although we had only just met, they made me feel welcome and part of the group, both when we were diving and when we were not. If I didn’t live so far away I would definitely dive with the Underwater Sports Dive Centre more regularly as it was like diving with friends.

I completed my open water here in 2021 since then I have gone on dive in many other centres and done my advanced open water. And I can say this centre was far better than all the rest, great intructor (Rick), lovely dive sites and top notch equipment. If I lived in Adelaide or anywhere near it I would do all my dive training with them. And very reasonably priced.

I recently completed the PADI Deluxe Open Water Course with Underwater Sports Diving Centre, and cannot praise them enough! I have already booked in to do my PADI Advanced Open Water Course, as well as another Specialty PADI course.

The Instructors and Dive Masters from Underwater Sports Diving Centre are absolutely fantastic, with an extremely strong focus on the safety of their students. Small class numbers (6 students) and dive groups (2 students per instructor/Dive Master) made the students feel extremely comfortable, relaxed and most importantly, SAFE!

Underwater Sports are an extremely friendly, professional, safe and enjoyable PADI Dive Centre, which is evidenced not only by the number of return customers I have seen, but the number of students who continue their diving education with further PADI diver training (myself included!).

Whether you simply want to experience recreational scuba diving and get your Open Water dive ticket, or are looking to start (or continue) along the path of Advanced, Specialised or Professional PADI training, give the team at Underwater Sports a call!

If you are looking to buy equipment, their fully stocked showroom has a massive range of top quality, reputable brands, at very competitive prices. The USDC sales staff (who are also highly experienced divers and PADI instructors) provide fantastic advice, without the high-pressure sales pitches that I have experienced at many other major dive shops in Adelaide. They value return business, so they're goal is to give the best service and products to ensure that their customers stick with them for years and years (which they do!).

They also carry a full range of spare parts for EVERY brand they stock, and offer affordable, professional and CERTIFIED servicing for dive equipment, as well as offering a great range of MODERN hire equipment that is meticulously maintained, and extremely quick tank refills (including enriched air).

The USDC dive boat, 'Aladdin' is an impressive and comfortable vessel, perfectly set up for divers - either students during dive courses, or certified divers during their frequent dive excursions.

I highly recommend joining the USDC Dive Club for a small annual fee, which not only provides you with very generous members discounts on purchases, rentals, refills and excursions, but also a number of events throughout the year, ranging from 'Club Dive Days' on a range of amazing dive sites, 'Social Days' to meet the other members, to 'International Dive Holidays' at unbelievably affordable rates. I saved more on my first purchase that the membership cost me!

Essentially, these guys do everything, and they do it exceptionally well. Don't just take my word for it... go and visit some of the other dive shops across Adelaide (and Australia), and then head in to Underwater Sports to see for yourself just how amazing they are!
