DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY. We received a voucher for $100 for a birthday. Tried to book accommodation online but it was an extra $100 to book it through their website or the same room. Called the call centre to discuss and was advised that the accommodation prices are high because you're paying for them to book the holiday for you. I didn't understand this because I was trying to book it through their website. The agent said that their accommodation prices and holidays were the prices they were and if you can get it cheaper then go elsewhere. So in actual fact, we would have rather that our friends gave us a voucher for elsewhere or gave us the cash. An absolute rip off.

Got given a voucher for chrissy. Booked a hotel for 2 nights. When arriving and getting our room i reviewed the costs and found we had been massively ripped off. The price difference for what the hotel charged Shortbreaks was $375 what Shortbrakes charged us was $588. CON ARTISTS. DO NOT USE.

We were most fortunate (prior to the enforced lockdown) to have been supplied By friends with a Short Breaks travel Voucher From the Holidays of Australia & The World Group in Adelaide
We chose the Limestone Coast Region and were so happy that we did.
The staff at Short Breaks were magnificent - they supplied us with a wonderful 200 page professionally prepared travel suggestion/recommendation booklet
And backed it up with courteous service and attention.
We were amazed at the selection of holidays and short breaks that were available to us and all within easy driving or access.
The knowledge of the Short Break staff was incredible/ well done- we certainly will be using this professional travel again.?

We were given a gift voucher as a Christmas present to use, we went to book a short stay at the port Hughes caravan park in a few weeks. I went to book through short stays with my voucher and I was quoted $462 for a 2 night stay, whereas if I book through the caravan park it’s only $370 for 2 nights. It’s really disappointing to know that the vouchers almost seem worthless when your charging so much extra in comparison to booking it without using short stays. I definitely won’t be recommending this service

Short Breaks Australia booked a trip for me and my husband to Beach Huts at Middleton. My consultant Nella went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect for our 10 year anniversary. All staff were fantastic even if my consultant wasn't available. A down to earth 5 star travel agency from start to finish.

Still on going . Have a vouchure we would like to use on entry to somewhere both times been led to believe we can use it on a certain place .then told we can't. And runs out in December these vouchures should not expire they get there money when we spend it should be our business specially when they can't help me with anything

Went to Rubys Robe cottages through this company . 4hr drive and all the costs that go with the holiday only to be over run with maggots and flies every where . Contacted these guys and the owner only to be told cant do anything till maybe the following day . We didn't really want to sleep with the maggots so we had to leave. When we asked for a refund we were met with a pass the buck game between Ruth(part owner of the cottage)and this company . Don't expect any help they just get your money and wipe there hands. I think a complete refund was in order
but maggot might be your thing
