This tour was one of the best things I've done in my time in Australia. We started in Adelaide and travelled through some really amazing places in a slept on South Australia to Uluru. The tour was really well organised, with so much to do it was busy but also really relaxed. Cost of the tour may seem high but with most food included we spent very little for the week! We got to see the most unique landscapes and wildlife in a lovely small group setting. The camping facilities were great and the swags comfy. The food provided was amazing with plenty of variety unlike other tours I've been on. The standout of the tour was our guide Jack.He went above and beyond at all times for us to answer the most difficult questions we threw at him! He was extremely informative and passionate, which made the tour a real experience rather than just a trip to see the sights. He was really conscious of repeating customs and traditions in sacred areas and passionate about leaving no trace and conservation in national parks which is important to me. He was brilliant with any issues and most importantly was a great laugh and we all had so much fun. I would highly recommend untamed and Jack for a real once in lifetime experience.

Excellent way to see Australia in an authentic way and meet new people. Our guide Tom W was very knowledgeable, friendly, considerate and helpful throughout the 8 days we spent on the road together. As a small group we were well catered for and if we had any questions Tom was right there to help night and day. There was a good mix of driving, hiking and exploring local sights on our way north. The sights and experiences on this trip were exceptional and I feel grateful I got to enjoy them at such a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone keen to discover the South Australian outback and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

I've done the Adelaide-Perth Tour and it was great.
Even though there were some long drives, our group had fun. The activities were also great, you could always choose, how far you actually want to go.
The camping areas were good, as well as the swags.
The guide Brendan was also a really funny and patient guy, who told us a lot of stories about that area. Also he chose really good food, that everyone enjoyed making and eating.
I highly recommend that company.

Adelaide to Ulaṟu tour was a great experience, saw so much wild life, and our guide Brendan went the extra mile. His knowledge and passion was everything.
The tour stops at lots of amazing hikes and sights, felt like I got so much more value for money and would love to do again.
Camping under the stars was a highlight, the initial shock of what a swag is was lightened by our amazing guide who answered all questions in best way. The food was 5star, and our group had so much fun having dinners together.
The long roads were filled with stunning stops and stories that built an understanding of the country and cultures. The tour stops never felt rushed, but we always managed to get to our destinations on time.
Cannot thank Brendan enough for his patience and care during this life changing tour. He helped reassure and support me at every turn and I am very grateful. Brendan had a deep knowledge of the road ahead and made even the most boring history and facts very entertaining. In Uluṟu guide Emily joined and her respect and knowledge of the Anangu people and culture was beautiful.
Would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Australia’s outback and centre. ?

My friend and I just completed the 8 day Adelaide to Uluru tour and had the absolute time of our lives. Our guide Scruffy was amazing – he was so funny and filled with so much knowledge - I learnt so much on this trip. We all learnt about wildlife, flora and fauna, Australian history and so much more. The trip was filled with so many fun activities. We did the best hikes I’ve ever done, I saw the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets and we visited some of the most unique places – destinations I’ll never forget. The guides were so attentive and kind, the food was phenomenal and all dietaries were well catered for. I felt well cared for throughout the entire trip and any nerves I had at the start disappeared by the end of day one with just how much comfort the guides provided us with. Couldn’t recommend this trip more ! I will thoroughly miss falling asleep each night under a sky full of stars.

I’ve had the pleasure of doing two tours with Untamed Escapes. The first one in October 2023, from Uluru to Adelaide with Dan Hall. I didn’t have experience with grouptours like this, but I’m so glad I made the decision to join! Dan took tourguiding to another level. He shared so much about the culture, nature and experiences. Also, he brought the group together with his funny stories. Would definitely recommend to do this trip! Beautiful places, the itinerary was amazing.

Because of this experience I decided to book another tour with Untamed, the 10 day Adelaide to Perth tour in April 2024. My expectations were high this time, but I can tell this tour exceeded my expectations big time. Brendan was so enthusiastic in everything he did, from telling about nature to cooking the best meals I ever had on a tour. We had a very nice group of people which made the experience even better. We visited so many beautiful places, even though the weather was not always as we’ve hoped. Brendan was always quick to react, changing the itinerary so we would still have a fun activity to do.

Also I would like to mention the people behind the scenes, the contact I had with Ruby over the email, when I was not sure yet if I would be able to join. Afterwards when I wanted to change an activity in my booking. Always friendly and very helpful. Thank you for that, it feels nice to know that the people you’re in contact with are genuine.

Thank you Untamed Escapes for two amazing tours, it made my Australia journey so much better. I made friends for life on both tours which I’m so grateful for. Would definitely recommend others to book with you!

1 Day Port Lincoln Tour. Wow a great tour. Tour guide Ian was excellent, sharing his 50 years of local knowledge. Such stunning and diverse scenery. Awesome lunch at The Fresh Fish Place. Up close to the koalas at the Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary. Would recommend this tour.

Best way to see the hidden gems of Australia. Have now done three tours with this company the first was 2013 and every bit of every tour was incredible. Most recent tour guide was Sean who was a brilliant guide, extremely knowledgeable but also great at getting everyone involved and having a great time, so much so that a few of us who had extra days in Perth at the end of the tour stayed in touch for beers on the beach together after.
Incredible nature, huge sting rays gliding over our toes, up close and hand feeding possums, stunning stars and sun rises that made even the furthest removed from a morning person (me) get up pre-dawn to see three of them- just breath taking.
Met the owner of the company Hassie back in 2013 who was so kind and went above and beyond to make that tour one of the best weeks ever despite a travel agent booking me on dates that weren’t meant to be available -had such a great time on that tour it actually inspired me to move to South Australia! If you like the great outdoors and nature as well as a good laugh you really couldn’t find a better company to book with.
