We were only there overnight- but what a find. It was a great stay. Room is beautifully presented and clean. Great bedlinen- crisp and white.
However it’s the staff who need to be thanked- very personable. Helped with my booking when I got wrong dates. Nothing to much trouble and excellent follow through.
It’s centrally situated and coffee next door.
Thank you- I’ll definitely be back soon.

Wow what a surprise! From the easy parking to meeting wonderful Alice on check-in to leaving in the morning and everything between Elle and I loved the place. Close to everything you need and pizza and great coffee right onsite. We really appreciate clean and it's clean. Nice fresh modern decor with a hint of the nostalgia. Great work!

We arrived in Brunswick Heads on spec and hadn't booked accommodation. Unfortunately, it proved a bit difficult to find accommodation for 1 night on a Friday. The woman at reception at Sails was friendly and helpful and was able to give us a room at the back of the motel. It was more than we would usually pay for a motel, $250 for the 1 night. For that price I had high expectations which were, unfortunately, not met. The room was clean but small. There was no table, just a bench with only 1 chair. There was also a small lounge. There was no outlook whatsoever, we felt like we were in a box. No choice of pillows either, all we equally large and firm. The usual duvet on the bed as well (what's with that in Australia?), we belatedly found a blanket in the cupboard.

So, clean and neat but way overpriced.

Our stay at this motel was not pleasant for a family. From the moment we arrived, it was loud, and it only got worse.

Our family room was right behind the restaurant kitchen. After heading out for dinner, we returned to our room at 8 pm to constant loud banging and shouting from the staff and patrons of the adjoining restaurant. We could also hear every footstep and movement from the rooms above and beside us.

The noise finally stopped after 10 pm, making it impossible for our family to relax or sleep until after this time. We would not recommend this motel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Avoid Room 9 at all costs.

It looks good but scratch the surface and you'll likely be disappointed. We very much were. So many things to mention that weren't good. And sadly nothing that was. Just a bizarre set up. Tiny rooms. Noise until 10pm from the wine bar underneath (why is it underneath a motel?) Noise between the rooms. Beds have what seem like a plastic sheet sewn into them so all three of us kept overheating during the night. Thus we all woke feeling tired. Tables and chairs set up outside rooms on the upper level! I mean, right outside rooms where people are no doubt trying to sleep or at least rest before moving on the next day! Mostly we were upset with ourselves for not checking the other reviews thoroughly enough. I wouldn't be writing this review if we had, because we wouldn't have stayed here. However if you MUST stay here, definitely ask for a room at the back of the motel which is a row of single level rooms. Be aware you'll likely still be able to hear your neighbours through the walls. Bruns is a beautiful, friendly little town. Do visit! Just think twice about staying here if you value your rest.

We stopped an extra night in Brunswick Heads which was well worth the time. But our stay in the Sails was spectacular. Maybe its the Corbusier lines of the rooms. Even the colours. The staff were delightful. The pizza joint next door was lively and delicious. The pastry shop one more door down was lively and delicious, even early. I left the Sails in a good mood.

Very clean, comfortable and affordable, quite plane design. Walking distance to everything in Brunswick. Cafe and restaurant out the front. Found this very quiet.

We had a very good time here.
White-blue Mediterranean styled exterior with a nice quality built interior.
Small, but smartly done rooms.
Wanted to be grumpy about the price at first, but after spending a night, not seeing a single dust spot, single crack or stain - better than the majority of options. Thank you. Will be back.
