Giving this pub another go because of the location, but so disappointed! Chicken breast, not a breast and dry ($29). Side of veggies tasteless, floppy and dry (not sure how that is even possible). Burger - bun not toasted, cheese not melted, so average. However, they can cook a lamb shank!

Nice old pub with lots of history. Quite place at least during the week. Having said that the food is not great. Had a chicken schnitzel and it was overcooked, not much chicken and small. Very disappointed.

Lovely old pub , friendly welcoming staff , good local tap beer and good food . Child friendly children can play .

Lovely pub with a great feel. Unfortunately the food is well below par. Paying $29 for a very small parmi that has cold stale chips and a sad salad is not it. Such a shame that we are keen to support our local businesses, but just can’t justify it at the Yungaburra Pub

Food is epic and reasonable price. Great style pub and atmosphere.
Only issues is the old buzzer for food, nobody wants to have to get up mid drink and conversation. Please just give a number and deliver.

Also $9 a pint of mid strength is about $4 more than I'd expect to pay around Cairns. Maybe it costs more up the hill but the beers a bit steep.

Pretty average! Chips were cold, poor service and Parma was very small, gravy taste like the Maggie powder mix, probably wouldn’t come back

Came down on a Saturday night about 7.30pm - great menu - I ordered the crumbed steak which was huge and delicious, nice thick steak not over cooked & really tasty salad/chips. Friendly staff, huge pub - definitely recommend it

There was live music, I sat in the front bar to watch the footy which was busy/cheery

Nice old style pub. Food was fast to come out, not too busy on a Tuesday. Food was well cooked, at a decent price.
