Booked a cruise to The Low Isles, on Red Ballon. This was the best experience we had in Far North Queensland. Would highly highly recommend this touring company. The crew were great and the boat very comfortable. And food supplied was great.
The snorkelling with a marine biologist was so educational and fun. We saw so many fish, turtles and coral. This was great for people with all swimming abilities as they offered life guards and life jackets.
The glass bottom boat was so good and a great way to see the reef without getting wet.
We unfortunately had a very rough ride out to the Isles but the crew were very supportive of everyone and had great remedies for sea sickness.

We stayed in downtown Pt. Douglas so we walked to the terminal. Terminal had a huge car park and a chartered bus to pick up passengers from Cairns. Since it was towards the end of the school holiday in July, I was told there were 400 passengers when we went. Note to parents: Definitely have your kids take Dramamine or any anti-sickness pills before boarding so that they can be prepared in the event it's rough out in sea! We encountered so many poor kids hurling during the 1.5 hrs journey to Agincourt Reef where the platform is. I felt bad for them due to lack of planning on the parents..... This was a well-oiled operation where they start setting up buffet, have wet suits, goggles and snorkels ready to be passed out when we arrive. So much activities to do but I spent too much time snorkeling so was bummed I didn't get to experience the submarine ride. They made sure no one was left behind when we departed and took counts with a clicker. One of the staff kept getting it wrong multiple times and had someone else take over - we had a good laugh. Make sure to queue up early if you want to rent an underwater camera since they sold out pretty quick. The experience was surreal seeing fluorescent colored fish, sea anemone and corals which you might see on NatGeo!

Great boat trip! Was amazing and highly recommend! Scuba diving & snorkelling was both unbelievable so is great for everyone and the food was super yummy. We were on the silver sonic calypso and would definitely go again! Photos were abit pricy but overall it has been the highlight of our trip.

Best experience with best crew. We were hesitant being non swimmers but there is lot of options available with them. There is submarine, they provide you with safety vests of all sizes and all plenty of equipment available.
From booking till the end of this tour they all deserve 5 star.
They picked us up from hotel and dropped back at night.
The lunch was delicious and snacks available were good.
I was also told by my friends who went with other groups that they had lot of sickness while travelling. But with quicksilver they have huge boat and none of us felt sick. Lots of space to sit or go to the upper deck. Staff very friendly.
They have pantoon parked at Agincourt reef and that makes experience more amazing with lots of space and options to do.
Highly recommended tour.

We went on the Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef from Port Douglas. Our trip had approximately 200 people. That was geeat and with this large catamaran we didn't feel crowded. They motor us out to a large activity platform which takes about 1 1/2 hours. This platform is on a small section of the Barrier Reef. On this platform they served us a hot & cold meal buffet style which was great.
The platform options included in our ticket price was lunch, snorkeling & gear, submersible sub (25 min). There were other options for a fee. Their attention to safety was spot on. This was a great trip and a reasonably priced tour, which we booked last minute. We would highly recommend this tour

Very well organized excursion to a nice coral reef, permitting to discover a lot of nature beauty. The cruise was well combined with several talks explaining the sea world, the safety instructions, and a good lunch.
