We have just done our first On The Go Tours to Vietnam nine days.
I have to say this was a fantastic experience. I did not have to worry about one thing. The transfers were picked up on time. No one was late anywhere buses Plains and boats.
And yes, On The Go Tours means what they mean you’re on the go all the time. You’re never bored, don’t expect a sleep in. LOL totally worth it and yes long bus trips and a train if take it. But how else are you doing it.
The group of travellers we were with, we all laughed and talked grate bunch.
Our tour guide, Hung, was informative friendly and even went the extra mile to make sure everybody was okay and provided really good information like times to get back on busses and where we were going and what we were doing. Also when we needed to change rooms that all our belongings were transferred, he organised everything for us.
I would suggest booking everything through On The Go Tours not a separate travel agent just in case something goes wrong. If we’ve gone through On The Go Tours directly for all our flights, the issues that we had would’ve been dealt with promptly with minimal fuss.
And yes, going to Vietnam was a lot of fun, the food was fantastic. The people were really friendly and if you were happy to pay the bigger price they weren’t going to complain on the whole incredibly safe.
Immigration is a real pain but once you get through that in and out.
Mind you won’t regret it. Vietnam is a lovely place.

I booked an Afican Safari tour for June 2025 and paid my deposit. It was only then I was told the tour dates were only confirmed not guaranteed. I reached out as I need to apply for annual leave 9 months in advance and also wanted to be able to arrange my flights and other travel before the tour started. Since the beginning of July I have had no assistance or guarantee of dates. I have however been offered more expensive tours with guaranteed dates in July 2025. I have been told all I can do is cancel with no refund of my deposit. I have chosen to cancel a I feel this company falsely advertise the cheaper tours then try to strong arm you into moving to a more expensive tour by not being able to guarantee dates for the cheaper ones. I won't trust them with my travel plans or any more of my money.

booked a tour on a Sunday paid a deposit because it was the last day of a sale. due to unforseen circumstances had to cancel on the following Tuesday but they refused to refund the $500 even though on the google site in more than one instance said a refund is available within 7 days .Conveniently the next day all those sites were erased! their excuse was that particular tour wasnt covered ! read the fine print was there excuse .Very cold and no empathy.

I would like to add that your consideration as mentioned was a continuous no refund .I booked the tour on line so there was no contact with reservation consultant as mentioned so how can you say that.
I noticed you sugar coat your responses to your advantage . Like i said i went by the cooling off period nothing mentioned about this tour not being covered

Very disappointing tour. Booked ‘Gorillas to the Mara’ 18 day round trip from Nairobi. Two stars because we did see the gorillas and they would have got us to the Mara if we hadn’t disliked the tour so much that we left early.

Of the 18 days we only completed nine, five of these had involved being packed, ready and on the ‘truck’ by 5am. Four of these involved 12+ hours of travel with very limited or no sightseeing opportunities.

As noted by other reviewers we were surprised to discover that in our case On The Go were operating as a reseller of another tour. This meant that value was very poor and we were paying substantial rates for very poor quality accomodation. Pre-tour accommodation was booked at a markup of ~50% compared to advertised rates.

I’ve now done 4 tours with on the go, and 5 countries - and every single one has been amazing.
Sri Lanka, Peru, Egypt, Vietnam & Cambodia.
Guides, groups, hotels, sites - all awesome and so much fun.
Did so much, ate so much, saw so much - I really couldn’t fault them

This was our first trip with on the go tours and we couldn't off asked for a better trip, everything was so professional and well done from the airport pick up through to the fantastic tour locations all throughout Egypt the hotel stays were amazing. Our tour guide MoMO was the best his knowledge of the area was amazing he became like one of the family to us. Thank you On the go for a wonderful holiday. This is my first ever internet review and I hope I have now fixed my original mistake because on the go deserve the 5 stars not one.

My family and I went on a trip to India for a family wedding. We did a Taj Express tour of the Golden Triangle and it did not dissapoint. Our tour guide Karun was very knowledgeable, fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was lovely and the food was delicious. I personally loved every minute of my India experience , it has been truly life changing. The people are beautiful and I will definitely be back.
