The resort is at a good location but could do with some TLC. The pool and reception areas are good, as is the lagoon. The accommodation blocks are dated and need an update.The rooms have been well maintained and comfortable but could also use an update.
The staff that we dealt with are polite and friendly so no complaints. The resort is close to the beach which has lifeguards and is good for a leisurely walk either way

We stayed three nights and had a great time. Breakfasts were one of the best ones we had in Australian hotels, great service and nice, reasonably priced menus in the restaurant and bar. The territory of the hotel is huge with lots of vegetation and a lake to walk around. Keep it up!

Initial impressions on arrival were good. Good reception, nice room, picturesque setting.|When we began to use the facilities, however, the wheels began to fall off. Firstly, there is little to no assistance for elderly or handicapped guests. The large pool has one handrail going into the water. The showers have no safety rail at all. This made showering very risky for me as a 72 yr old.|We then decided to have dinner at the only restaurant SOLA. You go to a mini reception where you are handed a paper menu and asked to order at the counter. Inside is spartan with nothing on the tables. There is absolutely NO table service anywhere in the resort, so you have to go outside to the bar to order drinks then bring them back to the table. When our meals arrived my wife asked the server if she could have some water. He told her she could get it herself from the bar area. ( foods getting cold)|The quality of the food was BELOW school canteen, but was EXPENSIVE. I had a battered flathead with chips $25. All there was on my plate was batter. When I complained to the mini reception person who took my order, she said nothing. I waited for a response, but received not a word. No apology. No nothing. Of course they have already charged for the meal, so you’ve lost the money. No managers anywhere to complain to. Just a young girl who cannot make a decision on what to do. Incidentally, my wife’s meal was appalling also.|If there is a Food and Beverage Manager at the resort, Novotel needs to have a quiet word because that’s not what anybody expects when staying in a (so called) luxury resort.|Overall we would give Novotel Twin Waters a 2.5 Star rating. It feels like it’s in its death throws, looking at every way to save a dollar.

I returned with great excitement as I stayed here as a child. However it would appear substantial parts of the resort hadn’t been maintained in the 16 odd years between my stays. The foyer and pool are nice. However the outdoor bars area, lake and accommodations are definitely showing their age. Friendly staff and good food. Just that rotting ambience that put a hamper on it for me at this price bracket.

Before heading off on our vacation at the Novotel I read all the reviews and became worried. No need. After spending the last week there I was very impressed with everything! Room was great, service and staff wonderful and the location was extremely lush and tranquil. Beautiful tropical gardens and wildlife abound. Breakfasts were exceptional. We did hire a car as it is not in a central location such as a main road or in the centre of town. Based on our experience I would highly recommend the Novotel. It felt like an oasis retreat.

We loved our stay, the hotel itself is just stunning. We loved the beautiful, well thought out entranceway & foyer. The decor and colour scheme are lovely right through to the outdoor bar and pool area. It had such a relaxed vibe & was perfect as an escape from every day life. Our room was a good size & bathroom, changing area also good proportions. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the greenery & had a view down to the little lake as well. Staff were absolutely fantastic from check in to check out, the pool guy & bar staff all were lovely and smiley. The facilities are great too with many options to sit in sun or shade, around pool and down by the lake. We enjoyed a round of mini golf & use of the kayaks. Will definitely stay again.

The reception, entrance, pool and bar areas give it a luxury feel but it all ends there
Rooms are dated, but they face beautifully manicured gardens and the lagoon.
The kettle didn't work, Reception nor switchboard answered the phone. So had to go down to reception to advise of issue
Staff were unenthusiastic which was disapponting. It is the hospitality industry after all.
Hotel is probably better suited for families.
The bar shuts by 9pm, once again disappointing.

From check in to check out, our experience was great. |We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the kids wished it was longer. |We stayed in a lagoon view room with amazing views and wild life outside your door. |The pool area was stunning with plenty of space. |The complimentary hotel activities were great. Keep you and the kids busy the whole day. |You don’t need to leave the resort for days. |The hotel’s setting and location are beautiful and well maintained. |The room was comfortable for a family of 4 ( kids 7 and 10). Our stay was Monday - Thursday.|I would stay again if in the area.
