It's workers accommodation in a reasonably remote area with enjoyable healthy meals.
The people here are good folk, but little to work with as far as the rooms are concerned
The restaurant is a good stop
Well cooked fresh meals
In cattle country so makes sense to get a steak
I have thoroughly enjoyed a small eye fillet with garlic prawns and vegetables that was perfect

Tonight was a little sad. Wait for it, The beer was flat, staff knew but still sold it. Food was not good. The rice was definitely precooked. At$31.90, it should have been an $18 meal.

Amazing Pub! Beautiful rooms and very affordable prices!

However the bar staff can do a lot more. Tonight I seen an older man continuing to grab empty glasses from tables while the BAR MAIDS sat and spoke behind the bar. The glasses were left on the counter for 5 minutes before someone put them through the washer.

The ladies are absolutely lovely but they could be doing so much more.

Not a bad review.. just some advice from a fellow Bar Manager ☺️

The food is good. Staff are friendly but useless. Their cleaners, don't. They don't service rooms between guests or when asked (none of our group had soap in their rooms and when we asked for it, the person we asked carefully wrote it down and when we asked again the next night where the soap was, she said "oh I didn't tell anyone")

The rooms.... Jesus. My shower was held on with cable ties and the empty shampoo bottles and used soap was a nice touch.

Beats the cockroaches on the wall from the last time I stayed I guess!

The detritus on the floors (bottle caps from previous guests etc) is also welcomed, really makes me feel at home and definitely doesn't make me wonder if I am sleeping on clean sheets.

Rooms only just above poor standards. Don’t use the restaurant! You’ll be ripped off. There servings are not right. You pay through the nose and get a very small portion of food for what you pay for. Better off finding somewhere else to eat. Very very poor serving of food, but th chief says it’s right. I’ve seen child’s servings larger than this.

This is not about the motel, but it is about the bar/restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Just left the place. Worse service on earth because I order my meal twice and twice, I didn't get it. I finally ask for my money back. Yes, they did get me credit for the food I order twice and never got and didn't even say sorry. Only thing they could say was, we are having trouble with the wire that holds the orders. Looking around the place everyone else was getting their food. Needless to say, will not be going back there!!!!!!!!! And I live in this town.
