We really enjoyed our night star gazing with Outback Astronomy. It was a cold night so we opted for the recliners with sleeping bags and that was a very good move. We were toasty and warm in our sleeping bags and it was nice to recline and watch the stars. The hot chocolate was a hit with my daughter too. We both learnt a lot and had a great night. Highly recommend.

This experience was a great introduction to the stars at night. Our guide Linda showed as constellations, planets and starling satellites flying through the sky lol.

We only had 3 days in Broken Hill but were delighted that there was a show available. We went for the full food package and we both thought the food was fantastic and that we wouldn’t finish it as there was so much. The presenter Linda was so knowledgeable and could really explain the complexity of the night sky clearly. It was cold but we had rugged up as advised and there were sleeping bags provided. A nice touch. We really loved this experience and would highly recommend it!

Just wowed on how much I learnt. It has always been my dream to see the Milky Way as I live in a big city where it is impossible.

The whole experience it is just a quick intro for you to recognize the stars on the south hemisphere, if you are an expert you could find it basic but probably the stargaze tour is not for you.

What a wonderful experience! Great location, an engaging presenter, professional setup and what a view!

I was there on a crystal clear night, with a quarter moon that made it quite bright, and not as dark as you might like. For best results, try to aim for a new moon.

Next time I'm in the region I'll be sure to visit again!

Great location and made very welcome by the owner. Imparting complex astronomical knowledge in simple ways to a lay audience can be tricky and I definitely left knowing new things and better understanding other things I thought I knew. And the night sky here is breathtaking! Definitely recommend.
