Very rude. The younger female very blunt and rude. When replying to a question spoke down not to me. No one acknowledged when we walked in, no smiled and no customer service skills. Two older women just watched my party walk around the shop then stopped when realising he was with me.

I ordered over $100 worth of school supplies because I wanted to support smaller local businesses. The service was great when I put in my order and it was quick! However, when I went to pick up my order the staff member who served me was extremely rude and seemed really cranky. I think the store looks lovely and maybe she was having an off day I don't know. However it was unprofessional. I have worked in retail for over 10 years and there is no excuse for this behaviour. I won't be ordering from here again.

The people that work here and own this newsagent are so lovely. My husband and I went in looking for a particular gift that we didn't have high expectations on finding, yet there it was! Their range is very impressive, and to top it off they gift wrapped them all up very nicely and we experienced service with a smile and impeccable manners, which is quite a rarity. I definitely run all my newsagent errands at this store above others around Cairns.

Poor customer service, I was in there at 8am this morning for at least 5-10 mins, I was the only customer in the shop, 2 staff working and neither one of them acknowledged me, no ‘good morning’, no ‘can I help you with anything?’ Nothing!
The male shop assistant had his head down at the front counter, probably reading the paper.... and the female shop assistant was wandering around the shop but was too busy to greet me or offer me any help.
So I didn’t buy anything there, I’m not spending my money in their shop, they’re obviously doing well enough that they don’t need to be polite to customers!
And I won’t go back there again!!

Literally the best place to visit on the southside. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The store is amazing, clean, tidy and has the BEST gift selection out there. Everyone has a smile. I only shop here!
