We had the most amazing time in the grey gum cottage! The property is beautiful and full of friendly animals. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including the most stunning shower we have ever seen ☺️ we would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants a quiet, private, and peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful Australian flora and fauna. The most incredible gateway for me and my partner. A break away for busy city life! The views from the cottage are beautiful, surrounded by birds, animals and we were even lucky enough to see wild kangaroos. I was extremely excited for this gateway and had postive expectations. I must say it well and truly exceed all expectations, the cottage inside is stunning and immaculate! There wasn’t a spec of dust in site! I was highly impressed with all the little touches that made it homely. It was the most relaxing weekend, I will definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough! Thanks again for a beautiful stay.

What an incredible spot!
My wife and I spent a couple of nights here for a cheeky get away.
locked the phones in the car and just enjoyed the cabin!

Sitting in a bath watching the cows with a glass of champagne is worth every penny. secluded and private.

Was just what we were after! would loved to have made the massages possible, but we will save that for our next visit!!

Such a blessing to stay at this glorious little cottage!!! Pics don't do it justice! Nor do they capture the smell of the burning firewood, or the sounds of the insects after a storm! Everything is so well thought out- instructions for everything- and Kavita and Arif are such thoughtful hosts (I can say that even though I have never met them!). The property is stunning and I couldn't believe how close to Brisbane you are while still feeling like the only person on the planet. 10/10; 5 stars; two thumbs up- whatever the metric... WOULD RECOMMEND!

Kavita and Arif’s Golden Wattle cabin was absolutely gorgeous—clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a beautiful weekend getaway. I was lucky enough to propose to my now-fiancé during our stay, and the cabin, along with its stunning surroundings, made the experience even more special. Waking up to breathtaking mountain views and spotting wallabies and other wildlife roaming nearby was magical, making it incredibly hard to leave when the time came.

A special thanks to Arif, who kindly let us feed their Highland cows, goats, and miniature horse. He was super friendly and accommodating, which added to the charm of our stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone and can’t wait to return in the future!

Gorgeous cabin, super cute property, and kind and friendly hosts. Just a short way from Dayboro with some excellent food places.
Bed and furniture were comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate.
Would recommend waking up to a sunrise here, its incredible over the mountains. <3 Thanks Kavita and Arif for the wonderful relaxing stay <3

Thank you for an amazing stay. The place is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Every detail and finishing touch has been carefully considered, making the experience both luxurious and comfortable. It was the perfect end to our honeymoon! Kavita was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to come back!

I took my partner out for her birthday weekend at this cottage, and she absolutely love it! The place was cozy but also has all the luxury touch, the bathtub, the robe and the bed and the linens were all very comfy. Soaking in the bath and relaxing with mountains surrounding us was the best part! The induction cooktop cooked so fast, was brilliant! Eventhough it is on a farm, everything is very clean and stylish. I also love the rain water shower and the floor is o ceiling window in the shower room. The toiletry product was quite pleasant to use and had very nice smell, I didn’t even use my own this time. The only thing wasn’t as perfect was the cottage was too close to the main road, I had to draw the blind to cover the balcony for privacy, which was also nice but you don’t get the full view. Apart from that, everything was perfect! I definitely recommend this place to friends and families.
