Typical country pub! What you see it’s what you get! Good service and a chat! Closed minded city people wouldn’t understand what a gem it is to find a old style pub with unbiased service! Make sure to pop in when passing through you won’t regret it!!

The place is never open of a night only on a Friday and the other days there closed and the manageress is a sight for saw eye's we went to enter the place she death stared us as if to say your not welcome here she was also smoking behind the bar surpose thinking that she owns the place she can say and do what she likes well we opened the door and it smelt like a dirty ash tray she snapped and said what do use want in my pub me and my other half just turned straight around and walked out went down the road to the other pub and what a total different atmosphere everyone talking laughing bar staff were friendly went out of there way to help even polite we stayed for two weeks at caravan Park and everytime we walk past the post office pub that had no customers just her or not open at all most of the time I feel sorry for the owners cause they are going to loose there money and pub with a rude manageress running it into the ground I feel sorry for the owners
