Did not use accommodation but stopped in for dinner while in town. Great pub food with generous serving size. The fire going in the pool room was a treat on a cool night (as we are travelling with a rooftop tent). No pool between 6pm and 8pm allowed for a nice sit down meal in that area. Good beer garden out the back.

Great pub. Exceptionally good meals, particularly the steaks, courtesy of the local butcher, and cooked to perfection. Friendly, hard working locals. Publican is the best. Be sure to drop in for a beer, a meal, and a chat.

We would like to say thanks so much for looking after the Darr Drilling crew on out recent stay. We all loved the services, meals and rooms. It made our 14 day stay very comfortable. You and your crew run a good, tight ship. Well done Allison. We will definitely be returning.

We ate here on the first weekend in Oct 2024. The place is in bad need of a good clean and a dust. We had the publicans dog with us in the dining room the entire time we ate. Dog is friendly but has no place in a bistro. Even its bed crate is in the corner of the room. Health dept would have a fit.
Food dull, Menu is tired. We paid $28 for rissoles and another $10 for a side of veg and got 2 dry rissoles, a ladle of mash and a normal serve of veg for $38 in total Dreaming.

Bar maid in the sports bar was disinterested.
We didn't book a room and decided to stay elsewhere.
I emailed the hotel on their Google details about the above issues but nobody bothered to respond. Publican may be well liked & everybody's mate around town but she's certainly not trying to get anybody new in those doors.
Wouldn't return.
And get that damn dog out of where people are eating!!

What a wonderful place to stay , the owners are fantastic and the staff are polite and friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and service is fast. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Enjoyed spending time with mustard the pubs mascot.

Stopped over for the night. Fantastic meals, amazing hospitality, watched the origin on the big telly, toasty warm fire, musty the mascot was cute and up for cuddles, fun times. Highly recommend ?

Sadly we arrived in town around 4pm and set up camp then headed to the pub for dinner, it was closed so we had to go to the service station and grab a burger there. We went back the next day and wanted to get lunch, unfortunately they don’t do meals every day so we went over to the bakery and got pies instead. Disappointed but we’re still able to grab a feed in town before going and enjoying the spa- they do amazing food in there also.

Had a massive day driving and got recommended this place for dinner . Ordered takeaway as wasn't staying there . Very very poor potion size . If your hungry I would not recommend this place . Very disappointing for the price I paid .
