I was a little bit worried at first because the itinerary took a while, but, when I received it I could understand why ! It has every aspect of our holiday set up for us, what steps we need to do, times, dates etc, very professional. Thanks Sandy

We booked an 8 week European trip through Australian Escapes to initially attend my nephew's wedding in Greece and visit to family in Italy and Spain with travel throughout Europe which was quite a task. It took a few revisions of the itinerary to accommodate our plans but it all went without a hitch. The service from John Greenbury was excellent. All emails were answered and phone calls returned as promised. We had a fantastic time and everything went to plan (bar flight delays and train cancellations - all part of traveling). Every detail of our trip was looked after including flights, ferries, tours, train tickets, accommodation, car hire, travel insurance etc all at a great price.

Ben helped my friend & I organise a trip to Venice & tour that took in Bosnia, Croatia & Slovenia. He found the perfect tour with Kompass that went to all the places we had on our list of wanting to visit.The tour was excellent, the guide, the driver, the hotels & all the local guides for city tours were all excellent.We had a wonderful time. There were some last minute changes to our flights but Ben worked hard to get us a great alternative with just a slight extra cost. The hotel we stayed at in Venice was very well situated, we only had a short walk from the water taxi stop which was greatly appreciated. It was right in the middle of restaurants, shops etc. We had a problem with our flight from Venice to Sarajevo, when the local airline suspended it's flights but Ben & Skye did a great job of getting us on another flight with another airline with no real interruption to our travel plans & no extra cost. We had a stopover in Kuala Lumpur on the way home which was a good way to end our trip. Having used Australian Escapes for previous trips, was extremely happy with this one & Ben did a great job of finding good accommodation & exactly what we needed to really enjoy our trip.

We recently returned from a great trip to Tasmania. We had a wonderful time despite our hiccups at the start, with an unexpected lockdown upon our arrival. Fortunately, Australian Escapes has a border-proof guarantee and they were able to cancel our original bookings, while we made our way back to Queensland. In an unexpected turn of events, the hotspot was dismissed - so we decided to resume our travel plans. Starting a few days later, our Aust. Escapes Representative was able to quickly put things back in place and we could kick off again. This was very much appreciated and well worth her efforts. We visited some amazing places as we travelled around the island state - our accommodation was all up to expectations with a couple of upgrades as nice surprises. If you are wanting to get away, take the plunge - you may even want to beat the December 17 rush and book now. Our hire car gave us the opportunity to explore some real amazing places - we saw snow atop Mt. Wellington on two occasions. Who would have thought - when Queensland is averaging close to the 30 degrees. The National Parks throughout Tassie are well maintained and offer some really great hiking trails and magnificent waterfalls to explore, some within a 20-minute return walk. The Bay of fires an absolute marvel, with the combination of colors. Even got to tip-toe through the Tulips at Table Cape Tulip Farm (seasonal). With a number of sightings of various wildlife and the wildflowers lining the highway - we were treated to an exceptional experience all the way around!!!

I have never had customer service experience so poorly before over the phone. the owner of the business i think john.... you need to go back to study customer engagement mate i have just a cert III and am only in my 20s and can help service a customer, its not hard to address someone with how are you today. You sound like an entry level school leaver with no experience and somehow take on a business. no wonder your rated 2.9 at the moment. Last year I WON a package basically with free flights with $400 worth of airfare vouchers and i was told all i had to worry about was the expense of the accommodation they offered and food. I then was asked for a $99 dollar deposit to secure my "spot", so i did and I until the end of 2016 to go on this trip. I decided today to proceed with this and apparently this guy took over the business which meant, "whatever packages or deal were obsolete," apparently, so he told me. He then told me he can offer another deal with the same value which came up to twice the price and that my airfare tickets where half the value.The $99 deposit was not refundable if i cancelled the package but it feels like the package cancelled on me yet i cant get my $99 back apparently its doesn't exist after he told me that, "the deposit i paid will be taken off the final price of his new deal". Mate your dodgy!

Thanks to Ben for booking our Rhein River Cruise last year. It was a fantastic holiday, everything was arranged -just nothing at all that we had to worry about. We visited some amazing places. Look forward forward to another one when these travel restrictions are lifted Maybe an Alaska Cruise this time 🙂 cheers

I'd give this scammer company a negative score if I can. I have asked to cancel the membership but they wanted me to keep paying the remaining membership fee. I have asked to refund what I paid and they said they won't and kept my money. Run very far from this company. They are a bunch of scammers
