My partner and I had did the 4hour inner island tour with Dirk! Dirk organised the pearl farm on Friday for us which was stunning! And then an hour of swimming on Friday! Dirk is very knowledgeable and provided very interesting facts of the area. Would recommend the Eco tours. Would love to do the fishing tour next time around.

We did a 1 hr tour of Thursday Island with Dirk in May 2024 which was good. We also booked a 3 hr inner island cruise. You need to be aware that this tour includes 1 hour for swimming, so you will need to bring swimmers and towels. Also be aware the boat is small with no shade so be sure to bring hats and use sunscreen. This tour was very good with beautiful Friday Island being the star. Dirk was very personable and knowledgeable.

Wow!! What a trip. We have just returned from Prince of Wales Island in the Torres Strait with our Son and Daughter in Law. Dirk Laifoo was our guide for the week who has a passion for his home and made sure that this was a trip of a lifetime. He took us fishing, guided tours of the various islands, and a fantastic trip to the Cape. Instead of going overseas in search of unique holidays, go to the Torres Strait, meet Dirk and experience a part of our Country that is still largely unfounded.

We have not long returned from a fantastic week with Dirk. We stayed on Prince of Wales Island and were out in the boat with him every day. Dirk is an easy going host with vast knowledge and a terrific sense of humour. He fitted in easily with our family of 6 and it felt like we had known him for ever. The location is incredible for people who love to get away and Dirk himself enhances the whole experience. Highly recommend!
