Due to solo traveling with a dog I don’t get out much so I was really looking forward to this night after finding a dog sitter.
I had a good 2.5 hours a day got to say how impressed I was.
I had a courtesy bust pick up and drop off, how good is that!
The drink prices were more than reasonable and food prices were normal.
My Parmigiana Mexican was tasty, with fresh salad and certainly more than enough. No need for a starter or sweet!
An easy 5 stars from me. Cheers!

Meals were nice and good value. The kitchen is open so you can see it’s run professionally and is clean. Nice atmosphere for a RSL, beers were cold.

Two weeks ago.
Wonderful meals! Presentation of the meals was exceptional - uniquely cut and artistically arranged meal components on beautiful serving plates. The food was delicious and very fresh - you could taste the ingredients enhanced with sauces that didn't rely on tonnes of salt, sugar or fat to get great flavour.
To top off a delightful meal the super friendly guy behind the bar gave us a lift in the RSL courtesy bus, back to our accommodation.

Really good food, service, and venue . The courtesy bus is a great touch and picks up from motels and caravan parks, although if they're busy they don't always pick up the phone.

An amazing menu, heaps of choice to meet your mood. Duck was superb with great vegetables to accompany. Bar service friendly and efficient. Absolute winner in Cooktown.

Sorry to say the Duck, rice and veggies dinner tonight was overpowered by water. I could not taste the sauce and rice both tasted water. Veggies need to be in seperate in a bowl on the plate. The duck was also very dry.duck must of been reheated in the microwave. It dont take 5 minutes to cook
