The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. There is also a spacious lounge room with a gas-fired heater that quickly heats the room. The lounge would be a comfy place to spend an evening or a wet day. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Great attention has been given to crockery, glassware and other amenities. The building is in a great rural setting and has great character. It is only a 15 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) to the township and the pub for dinner.||I recommend arriving before dark as the driveway would be rather intimidating after dark, unless you have a SUV.

Superlatives are easy but seriously The Bryn was just faultless. Welcomed personally and by name as we drove in, a great start. The accommodation is like a top notch hotel. Quality. Clean. Fresh. Roomy. The most sumptuous bed. The room opens onto a veranda where you can sit and look across the rolling green countryside down to the coast with all sorts of birds serenading you. There is a shared sitting room between the handful of bedrooms with an open gas fire.Its like being at home. A great fresh (not plastic) breakfast ( continental and cooked) served at a huge country kitchen table where you can chat with the handful of other guests. And to cap it all there is the perfect little village of Central Tilba half a mile away. This is truly a one of. Yes in the middle of nowhere but worth every minute of the drive between Melbourne and Sydney.

This place is a hidden gem! The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet! Easy check in and out. The location was beautiful situated next to the natural bush land and had ocean views. Perfect location to enjoy the nature, and is walking distance to local shops and bush walks. Would highly recommend The Bryn.

The Bryn is a wonderful place to stay and to relax in beautifully comfortable, quality surrounds with delicious breakfasts being provided by the very helpful hosts, Sharon and Pete. We have also stayed in the excellent self-cater accommodation - The Cottage, which is separate to the main residence and the B&B. It is really well set up and has absolutely everything one needs. The Bryn is a great base for exploring both coast and country areas and is in a stunning countryside setting with lovely views of the coast and the mountain. It is close to the historic village of Central Tilba. We've loved it every time we've stayed there and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was a quaint cottage set in an absolutely gorgeous location. The only sounds we could hear were birdsong in the evenings and mornings, and on a clear night, my partner looked up and saw the Milky Way. The green mountainous location makes you feel like you're in Yorkshire, but it's still very close to the beaches (e.g. Narooma and Bermagui).

The cottage itself was very clean and cute. It felt like visiting granny, with all the nice touches like Royal Doulton crockery, quality cookware (Scanpan!), super comfy duvet and sofa. I cooked more than I expected and enjoyed having access to the oven while watching the sun set through the kitchen window.

When we went out golfing, at the beach or hanging around Tilba village, we walked around the property and chatted to the team, who were very friendly and gave us lots of good tips. We also met Chilli the horse who often looked in on us froim his field when we were hanging out on the verandah or in the kitchen.

We loved our stay so much that we have already rebooked for next year.

Wow- where do i start? To say the very least, The Bryn at Tilba is beautiful, immaculately furnished and maintained, in the most idyllic setting (with views to match) that we've ever come across, complemented by an incredible level of service.

We booked into the Bryn for a relaxing weekend escape (after several stressful weeks) as well as a joint-birthday treat. This place is rated as the best hotel in Tilba- and I'm pleased to say the title is completely deserved.

After arriving late, on a Friday night, we treated ourselves to a spa bath with champagne. In the morning, we awoke, in our beautiful room, to panoramic views of the Tilba valley and coastline beyond. Sharon, our wonderful hostess, greeted us with a cooked breakfast (made to order) and some friendly tips on where to visit.

The Bryn is located an easy 5 minute walk from Tilba high street, meaning it's still in the heart of the village (close proximity to cream teas and cheese tasting) while being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist track. It's also a 10 minute drive from Mystery Bay and the beautiful untouched surrounding beaches- quite literally, the best of both worlds.

Not only are we already planning our next visit- we're also thinking about the logistics of being able to re-locate to Tilba permanently... I'm sure we aren't the first to have considered it!

The Bryn experience? I have (we, before and after children) have stayed since 2005 about half-a-dozen (and many friends too) times and the experience only gets better. More rewarding and more charming. The current owners have build on the fantastic location and made our favourite spot (The Cottage) even more accommodating for us as a family. We love the whole Tilba-Time (been visiting the area for 35 plus years) and there are few B and B's to equal. It is difficult to express but the 'experience' we have every time is the marriage between, the location, the setting, the obvious quality of the B and B and the times we enjoy. Thanks Sharon and Pete we will be down again as soon as possible.

We were travelling from Sydney to Melbourne and arrived at Tilba late one afternoon. Sharon was amazing. She made us feel at home and our room was fantastic. The view to the ocean was amazing and the 'breakfast room' was fantastic. You won't go wrong at 'The Bryn'.
