Having done both the Town Ghost Walk and the Cemetery Ghost Tour I couldn't decide which I enjoyed more! Tracey was the guide for both and was absolutely wonderful, her knowledge of the town (both haunted and not) was great.
One interesting story after the next, gasp after gasp, lots of laughs and frequent chills down my spine!
I recommend these tours to anyone, whether local or visitors passing through, a fantastic way to discover the darker side of this beautiful town

Amazing tour! Tracey’s local knowledge is unparalleled. She has a wonderful way of drawing her audience in and we felt like we were transported back to gold-rush era Charters Towers full of eccentric local characters and mythical tales of a by-gone time. Charters Towers is a remarkable historical town preserved to impeccable standards which is a credit to the town.
Tracey and the tour were outstandingly organised with prompt easy booking and Tracey was ready and organised early to welcome us! 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic tour. Tracey took our small group on a 2hr tour of Mossman and Gill Streets and the Stock Exchange. Informative history walk with ghost discussions in between. The entire 2hrs flew by and by the end of the tour my wife and I have many places we need to come back and explore. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed going the town tour tonight with my daughter (10). She loved it! How wonderful to see Charters Towers of a night, especially its historical buildings, they are beautiful. No ghosts seen by me, which I didn't mind :p . My daughter was very hopeful to see one. We'll have to go to another tour sometime. The cemetery certainly sounds like a good one.
Our guide was lovely, friendly, and very informative.
I really want to research and learn more about the towns history after this.

We were glad we did the tour but perhaps not for the reasons expected. Looking at photos from past reviews, it looks as though there was more time spent in buildings and rooms. We accessed a hotel to the bottom of the haunted stairs, the amazing Stock Exchange and we did walk up onto the front veranda of the police station....fun in itself! What I enjoyed was an excuse to walk the streets on a beautiful night and just have the time and opportunity to really appreciate some phenomenally beautiful buildings. To have such amazing architecture and beauty in such a small area, in a country town is incredible. Our guide gave us interesting history, quirky and tragic stories and of course the locations of ghostly activity. The tour is described as two hours. We arrived at 6:45 for a 7:00 pm start and were finished by 8:30 pm. I regard this as a positive because I didn't know if I could manage a two hour walk but this was better. There are opportunities to sit on street seating while listening to the guide.
