If you are a naturally environmentally friendly person who loves exploring the coastal areas without the flash human intervention, then l highly recommend this area. For a super relaxing town, without traffic lights and over busy streets, it's ideal.
However! If you prefer the buzz of society and food houses that open later, it may not suit you.
I personally love this area and the friendly, relaxing vibe.

Lake Wallaga to Bermagui coastal walk recommend. Coastal sand dune forest to open beach. Great walk or bike. 8kms end to end or do shorter sections Haywards Beach Nature Reserve or Camel Rock to Lake Wallaga.

A lovely walk. Just make sure you wear enclosed shoes the track has it’s fair share of slips, trips and falls. But don’t let that put you off.
