I’ve been a Kings customer and supporter for years, but after this experience, I honestly don’t feel like coming back. I ordered the Premium Camp Oven Stove and Canvas Bag via click-and-collect at the Shepparton store. Instead of what I paid for, I was mistakenly given the Vertical Offset Smoker.

I could have easily stayed quiet and kept the higher-value smoker, but I did the honest thing and reported the mistake straight away. Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times via email, Messenger, and even Facebook comments — all with zero response.

To make it worse, I had to drive an hour to collect the order in the first place — only to be given the wrong item. Fixing their mistake would mean either doing that trip all over again at my own cost or waiting on a courier (which they offered) that would require me to take time off work to be home for collection. The only other offer was a $10 store credit, which frankly feels like an insult after the inconvenience, fuel, time, and effort this has already cost me.

Adding to the frustration, Kings has a bundle deal where both the smoker and stove together are cheaper than what I was proposing to pay just to resolve this fairly. But instead of working with me, they’ve ignored every attempt I’ve made to sort this out.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have often recommended Kings to others — but I won’t be making that mistake again. This experience hasn’t just been frustrating, it’s been genuinely disappointing and hurtful.

Went in for a compressor, came out with drawers, a fridge, torches, thermometer and the compressor for great prices. Served by Emily who is an absolute legend, helped us out with getting our moneys worth and getting everything in the car. every worker we talked to were amazing and generally great environment, certainly suggest going here!!!

I bought a large fridge freezer 12 months ago. We are on a long road trip halfway across Australia. The freezer stopped working leaving over $150 worth of spoilt meat. Have been trying to get help but, I need to take videos of the freezer temp and spoilt food every hour before they can consider my claim. I have already sent videos of freezer temp and defrosted meat. They want me to get a thermometer and show readings. I am outback camping, how is this possible? Next step is reporting them to consumer affairs as they are not even listening to me. Beware!!!!!
I have tried to contact shepparton store but no phone number.
